Aditi Nair is a Mellon Fellow at The New School, involved in the Mellon Initiative for Inclusive Faculty Excellence, focusing on enhancing demographic and intellectual diversity in academia. As a Senior Specialist at Habitat for Humanity International, Aditi drives strategies for impact. Previously, Aditi served as a Research Assistant for various projects at The New School, including the 400 Years of Inequality Project, where Aditi presented design methodologies and developed project management tools. Additional research roles included leading digital content transformation at the India China Institute and contributing to a seminar on housing rights. Aditi has also worked as a Data Researcher for the Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development, a Program Assistant at mHS CITY LAB, and a Project Manager for Mumbai Environment Social Network with a focus on affordable housing. Early career experience includes working as a Project Architect at NIVASA, leading community-led housing initiatives. Aditi holds a Master of Science in Design and Urban Ecologies from The New School and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rachana Sansad's Academy of Architecture.
