Julie Abrams currently serves as Board Director and Vice Chair of the Investment Committee at Montgomery County Green Bank, contributing to the approval of financial transactions and development of new products. As Board Chair of PLACE, Abrams leads a global geospatial technology organization focused on strategy and governance for development in climate and gender issues across Sub-Saharan Africa and Small Island Developing States. In addition to advising BlackLab Venture Studio on ESG and impact investing, Abrams holds multiple committee positions with Habitat for Humanity International and previously directed the Impact Investments team at The Nature Conservancy, overseeing innovative transactions aimed at nature-based solutions. With extensive experience in impact investing, including roles at Apollo Global Management and Palladium, as well as founding Impact Investing Analytics, Abrams brings a wealth of expertise in financial structuring and capital raising across various sectors. Educational achievements include an MBA from The Wharton School and a master's degree from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
