Ilan Ovda

Ilan Ovda has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, primarily in IT and operations. Ilan worked at Hachshara Insurance Company LTD. from 2000 to 2008 as the Head of Imaging Department, where they modernized insurance claim processes and implemented web-based workflows. Ilan then worked as an Information Technology Engineer Consultant at MalamTeam from 2008 to 2010, providing programming and BI reporting services for "Direct Insurance Israel". Ilan then returned to Hachshara Insurance Company LTD. in 2011 as the Information Technology Manager, overseeing IT solutions and leading a team responsible for implementing new technologies. In 2014, Ilan joined Migdal Group as a Business Intelligence Analyst, specializing in non-life insurance and managing insurance agent campaigns. Ilan later returned to Hachshara Insurance Company LTD. in 2016 as the Head of Economic Development, focusing on sales policies and developing SWOT analyses against competitors. In 2018, Ilan took on the role of Head of Operations, responsible for planning and development of claim management systems and internal work processes, as well as developing interfaces with suppliers, claimers, agents, and customers.

Ilan Ovda has a diverse education history spanning over several years. In 1986, they graduated from Amal high school with a High School Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ilan went on to study at Amal colleges from 1989 to 1990, earning a Technition degree in the same field. Moving forward, Ilan enrolled at Bar-Ilan University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2015 to 2017. Later, they pursued a higher level of education at Bar-Ilan University again, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technologies and BI from 2018 to 2021.
