Tom Chi

Tom Chi is a partner at Hack VC. Tom was previously with Crosslink Capital, where they specialized in technical diligence and founder mentorship and support. Prior to that, they were with Planet Earth. Tom also founded Prototype Thinking LLC and served as advisor, former CPO (Factory) & CEO (Factory X) at Factory, an experiment to change how work works. At Mango Labs, they served as VP of Product/Experience of Gigwalk and co-founder of Voltaic Labs. Tom is also an angel investor and advisor for companies such as Mosaic, Edom, Quetsol, Unreasonable Adventures, Scott Street, et al.

Tom Chi graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Tom then went on to earn their M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Tom Chi reports to Ed Roman, Managing Director. They are on a team with Josh Stevens - Partner, Kevin Rowney - Partner.
