Joseph Mente

Joseph Mente is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in DevOps, security, and IT operations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of DevOps, Security, & IT Operations at DroneDeploy since April 2016, Joseph has successfully implemented cost-saving initiatives and established ISO27001 and SOC2 certifications. Previous roles include Lead DevOps Engineer at Bunchball and Systems Engineer - Site Reliability at Wayfair, where responsibilities included enhancing infrastructure and automation. Joseph also shares knowledge as a Guest Lecturer at Hackbright Academy and runs Duadikos, LLC, an interactive entertainment company. Educational credentials include an M.Eng. in Systems Engineering from Cornell University and a dual degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
