Amelia Desteno

Amelia DeSteno is currently a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health since April 2024, and concurrently serves as a Clinical preceptor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center beginning May 2022. Previous experience includes working as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at OHI - Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. from July 2023 to February 2024, where Amelia managed a high volume of prenatal and gynecological patients. Amelia also held roles at Olympic Medical Center as a New Grad Medical Office Nurse Coordinator Resident and completed clinical preceptorships at the Center for Pelvic Health and Nashville Breast Center, focusing on urogynecological care and breast screenings, respectively. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Registered Nurse with the Tennessee Nursing Association and a Medical Representative for Women's Healthcare Associates, LLC. Amelia holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Portland State University.
