Emre Kayaalp, MD, PhD, serves as the Chair of the Central Region at Hackensack Meridian Health since March 2024, previously holding the position of Chairperson of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Overlook Medical Center from July 2022 to March 2024. Prior roles include Chief of Obstetrics, Director of Labor & Delivery, and Patient Safety & Quality Officer at Hackensack University Medical Center (September 2019 - July 2022), and Assistant Professor, Associate Program Director, and Resident Research Director at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (August 2017 - September 2019). Emre Kayaalp's extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology includes academic roles at Weill Cornell Medicine and Yeditepe Üniversitesi, as well as leadership positions within Medisys Health Network, Inc.
