Kanika Mody

Kanika Mody serves as the Medical Director of the Surgical VAD Program at Hackensack University Medical Center since April 2019. Prior to this role, Kanika Mody was an Advanced Heart Failure, VAD and Transplant Cardiologist, as well as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Care Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from September 2014 to January 2019. Kanika Mody's earlier experience includes positions as a Junior Attending Physician in the Mechanical Circulatory Support Program and an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Fellow at Columbia University Medical Center, along with Cardiologist Fellowships at Winthrop-University Hospital and Saint Vincent Medical Center. Kanika Mody received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Saint George's University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from New York University.
