Laura Lella-Smith

Laura Lella-Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community outreach, fundraising, and program development. Currently serving as the Senior Community Outreach Coordinator at Hackensack Meridian Health since August 2018, Laura engages communities through a network of prevention education and wellness programs. As the Director of Operations at Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County since May 2013, responsibilities include managing operations, grant writing, and community outreach initiatives. Additional roles include Development Coordinator at Coastal Habitat for Humanity and Consultant for Special Events at Ocean County College. Laura's earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of Conferences & Special Events at Georgian College and Development Director for the Strand Theater with the City of Lakewood. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from St. John's University, earned in 1984.
