Matias Dib's work experience begins in 2014 when they worked as an Ingeniero Analista at Bethia S.A. In this role, they focused on improving performance and provided internal consulting for continuous improvement projects in the transportation affiliates of the company.
In 2015, Matias joined Sotraser L&D S.A. as a Coordinador Lean Logística. In this position, they carried out improvement projects in multiple process flows across six operations. Matias implemented Lean Manufacturing methodologies and facilitated a culture change through standardized and systematic initiatives.
The following year, in 2016, Matias took on the role of Gerente División Industrial at Dibco SPA. Matias was responsible for business development, process management, and overseeing new projects in the industrial division of the company.
Starting in 2017, Matias founded Liquidstock and became the CEO. Matias developed a technological platform to address inventory surplus issues in the retail industry. Matias successfully raised $50,000 through Start-Up Chile SEED and Go Regional acceleration programs.
In 2019, Matias ventured into angel investing and became an Angel Investor at Mudango, an on-demand moving solution in Latin America.
Later in 2019, Matias co-founded Hackmetrix and held multiple roles within the company. Matias initially served as a Business Developer and then progressed to the position of Director of Business Development LATAM. In December 2021, Matias became a Co-Founder and Director of Product at Hackmetrix. Matias currently holds the role of Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at the company.
Matias Dib pursued their education with an emphasis on technology and information. From 2007 to 2013, they attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, earning a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering with a specialization in Information Technologies. In 2010, they had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at the University of Melbourne, where they focused on business, management, and marketing. Prior to their university studies, Matias completed their secondary education at Santiago College from 1992 to 2006.
