David Schlosser, IDSA, is an experienced engineer and educator with a focus on product development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Dry Freight Lead Program Engineer at VT Hackney, Inc. since February 2020, David oversees the dry freight truck body product line, managing customer-driven design requests, BOM management, and engineering change requests. As an Adjunct Professor at Kent State University since September 2009, David has taught various engineering courses and was a finalist for the 2017 Part-Time Distinguished Faculty Award. David's previous roles include project engineering positions at companies such as Robin Industries, Eberhard Manufacturing, and Meteor Sealing Systems, specializing in the development of components for diverse markets including automotive and medical. David holds a Master's degree in Project Management and Engineering Management along with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Kent State University.
