Avi Killip has a diverse work experience in the field of Jewish education and community engagement. Avi has worked at Mechon Hadar as the VP for Strategy and Program, where they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the organization. Avi also served as the Director of Project Zug and Alumni Affairs at Mechon Hadar, where they facilitated connections between Jews worldwide through weekly one-to-one learning programs. Avi Killip started their education with a Bachelor's degree in Near Eastern Judaic Studies and Hebrew from Brandeis University in 2003. Avi continued their studies at the same university and completed a Master's degree in Near Eastern Judaic Studies and Women and Gender Studies in 2007. Following this, Avi pursued further education at Hebrew College from 2009 to 2014, where they attended Rabbinical School, although their field of study during this time is not specified. Avi then obtained another Master's degree from Brandeis University in 2008, this time in Women and Gender Studies and Near Eastern Judaic Studies.
