National Director Human Resources at Hadassah

Barrie Covington has a solid work experience in human resources. Barrie started their career as an Office Manager at ENN - Elevator News Network in 2000, where they established operations for a new media company. Barrie then moved on to work at Hadassah, a non-profit fundraising and membership organization, where they held multiple roles. From 2001 to 2009, they served as the Director of Employee and Labor Relations, managing HR-related topics and guiding staff at all levels on complex legal and union matters. Barrie then became the National Director of Human Resources, serving on the senior management team and directing all HR functions. In this role, they partnered with management on employee issues and facilitated downsizing programs in 2002 and 2009.

Barrie Covington has a BA degree in English from Oberlin College. In 2003, they obtained a Human Resources Certificate from Cornell University ILR School. Additionally, they have a certification as a Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) from the Plan Sponsor Council of America, which they obtained in June 2022.
