Rachel Wescott has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Rachel started their career as a Graphic Designer at NuCar Connection in 2002 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they served as a New Media Digital Producer and Graphic Designer at The Journal News Media Group, where they were responsible for the creation, scheduling, and tracking of online advertising.
In 2007, Rachel joined Masterminds as an Associate Art Director, where they worked on advertising campaigns for clients such as Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Fallen Oak Golf Club, Monte Carlo Resort & Casino Las Vegas, and The Westfield Group. Rachel also played a key role in the brand identity development for Beau Rivage and the design of the initial print campaign for Meadows Racetrack & Casino.
From 2008 to 2010, Rachel worked as an Art Director for Wonka Vision Magazine, where they led the art direction and total redesign of the magazine. Rachel collaborated with a team of photographers, writers, and music makers to publish an 88-page independent music magazine.
Rachel then joined The Media and Marketing Group / The Star Group in 2008 as an Art Director. Rachel managed a team of artists and led the creative efforts for clients such as Seneca Gaming Corporation, Harrah's Entertainment, Caesars, and Citron. Rachel also played a key role in the successful launch of the brand for three Seneca Casinos.
In 2013, Rachel joined Capital One as an Art Director - Digital, where they created internal and external advertising solutions for various Capital One brands. Rachel utilized their creative problem-solving skills to translate abstract information into engaging advertising solutions.
From 2016 to 2021, Rachel worked at Trellist Marketing and Technology as a Creative Design Leadership, overseeing creative and art direction for various industries. Rachel was involved in strategy, branding, and art direction for social media, digital and print advertising, trade shows, product design, packaging, and B2B/B2C marketing campaigns.
In 2021, Rachel joined Lucidworks as a Creative Director, where they oversaw all visual and brand aspects of the company. Rachel led the 2021 rebrand and launch, designed the visual system, and ensured a clean and consistent brand expression across channels.
Most recently, Rachel worked as a Freelance Creative Director at Evoke Kyne in 2022, before joining Haddad & Partners as an Art Director later in the same year.
Rachel Wescott has a strong education background in graphic design. Rachel attended The Art Institutes from 1999 to 2002 and completed an Associate's degree in Graphic Design. Rachel furthered their education at The Art Institutes from 2004 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. In addition to their formal education, Rachel has obtained certifications in Customer Experience Leadership, Leadership Mindsets, and Mindset (Blinkist Summary) from LinkedIn, which were all obtained in March and June of 2023.
