Mike Newbon

Mike Newbon has extensive experience in web design and front-end development. Mike began their career at Maru Group in 2015, where they worked on web design, front-end development, video design, promotional video creation, and print and brand designing. Mike focused on improving user experience, implementing interactive elements, and creating accessibility compliant websites. In 2016, they joined Exertis UK as a Web Designer, where they worked on both digital and print design for various tech clients. Mike then joined Bigger Picture: Digital Design Agency in 2017 and worked as a Senior Creative Developer and later as a Design Lead. In this role, they were responsible for leading design projects and managing creative development. In 2019, they joined Blender Institute and worked on the design and front-end development of web platforms, branding, and design for Blender Foundation & Studio. Most recently, in 2022, they joined ParcelParcel as a Designer & Front End Developer. Currently, they are working at Hadrian as a Full Stack Designer.

Mike Newbon attended Portsmouth College from 2011 to 2013, where they pursued A Level studies in Digital Film, Graphic Design, and Creative Media. Following this, they enrolled at Bournemouth University from 2013 to 2015 to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Animation Arts (BA) Hons. During their time at Bournemouth University, their field of study included Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects.
