Adam Sum

Adam Sum is an experienced professional in the maritime and shipping industry, currently serving as Manager of Claims at Hafnia since January 2019. Prior to this role, Adam worked at BW Tankers Pte Ltd in claims management from February 2018 to January 2019 and at SPI Marine as a ship broker from May 2016 to February 2018. Adam's career began at Seagull Shipping Agency as an Operations Executive from June 2011 to July 2012, where responsibilities included coordinating port calls and managing vessel-related matters. Previous positions also included post fixture coordination and chartering roles at Tokyo Marine Asia Pte Ltd from July 2012 to July 2015. Adam interned at ExxonMobil in 2003 in chemical operations. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Singapore Management University and graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
