Philippe Magneron

Philippe Magneron has extensive experience in the field of connected product standardization and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Connected Products Standardization Manager at Hager Group since October 1999. In this role, Philippe oversees technical standardization related to the Internet of Things, cybersecurity, and smart home technologies, while also holding the position of ETSI TG28 chairman for Short Range Devices. Previous positions at Hager Group include Deputy to the Technology & Partnership Director, focusing on wireless technologies and partnerships, as well as Corporate Wireless Standards Engineer, where Philippe contributed to the development of wireless home automation systems. Earlier in the career, Philippe worked as a consultant at Sivan Consulting, specializing in wireless communications. Philippe holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Telecommunications, Microwaves, and Electronics from ESIGELEC.
