Ralph Fuerderer

Ralph Fuerderer has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the automotive and transportation industries. Ralph served as the Chief Technical Officer at Hager Group since January 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Wabtec Corporation from December 2016 to December 2019. From September 2014 to November 2016, they held the position of Group Chief Technology Officer at Faiveley Transport. Ralph also worked for Alstom Transport, where they held the roles of Vice President Rolling Stock Operations from February 2012 to September 2014, and Director Rolling Stock Industrial Strategy from June 2010 to January 2012. Their career began at General Motors, where they served as the Executive Director of Manufacturing Engineering Europe & Asia Pacific for a period of 19 years, from April 1991 to June 2010.

Ralph Fuerderer obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics and Physics from The University of Freiburg from 1984 to 1990. Ralph later earned a PhD in Business from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Dr. rer. pol. degree in Betriebswirtschaft from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
