Elaine Dearing

Elaine Dearing is an experienced professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Museum Administration at Hagley Museum and Library since May 2023. Prior to this role, Elaine worked for Southwest Airlines from September 2013 to May 2023 as a Ramp and Ops Admin. Elaine also has a significant background in the US Air Force Reserve, where service spanned from August 2003 to July 2021 in Air Transportation. Elaine holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the Academy of Art University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of North Alabama, and an Associate of Science in Air Transportation from the Community College of the Air Force.
