Kai Utermann LL.M. serves as Legal Counsel and Director of Compliance at Hahn Air Lines GmbH since April 2012, focusing on commercial agreements, compliance, sanctions monitoring, and sports law. Utermann has also held positions as Managing Director and EVP Sales, overseeing Hahn Air's global sales team and expanding its airline portfolio. Prior experience includes Director of Sales for Austria and Slovakia at Austrian Airlines, where full P&L responsibility was managed and sales teams were integrated post-merger. Before that, Utermann worked at Deutsche Lufthansa AG in various roles, including General Manager Austria and Legal Counsel, leading antitrust proceedings and drafting commercial agreements. Utermann began legal education at the University of Bonn and obtained an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Miami School of Law.
