Daniel Straubinger is a Research Engineer and PostDoc at Hahn-Schickard since October 2022, focusing on the advancement of StarJet technology, specifically in optimizing printing systems and workflows for molten metal printing. Prior to this role, Daniel completed a PhD at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where research concentrated on the reliability of lead-free solder joints and failure mechanisms in electronics manufacturing. Daniel also gained experience at Bosch as a Researcher PhD Student, investigating failure modes in surface mount technology, and previously worked as a Software Test Engineer and Trainee Software Test Engineer, contributing to the development and automation of testing processes for automotive software. Daniel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the same field.
