Derek Garber

Derek Garber, CPA, began their work experience in 2014 with a summer internship and financial planning internship at Raymond James Financial, Inc. Derek then interned as a capital markets analyst at JLL in 2016, where they gained experience in brokering retail investment sale properties and working on multi-million dollar deals. Garber also worked as an intern at Deloitte in 2016, where they learned auditing processes and applied those skills to different clients in the South Florida region. Following their internship, Garber joined Deloitte as an audit associate in 2019. Currently, Garber holds the position of Vice President at Haig Partners, LLC, and is responsible for investment banking activities.

Derek Garber, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Lake Mary High School, earning a High School Diploma in 2013. Derek also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) awarded by the FDBPR.
