Neil Matillano

Neil Matillano has a vast work experience in the field of quality assurance and software development. Neil is currently working as a Lead QA Engineer at Haiilo since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Spendesk from March 2020 to March 2022.

From June 2018 to March 2020, Neil worked as a Lead QA Engineer at MakeMeReach, where they were responsible for various aspects of quality assurance, including test conception, automation implementation, functional testing, and continuous improvement. Neil also had a role as an Ingénieur Développement, QA, where they worked on the SaaS platform's quality assurance and collaborated with the DevOps engineer on continuous integration and deployment.

Before MakeMeReach, they worked at Netsize, a Gemalto company, as an Ingénieur Développement QA from January 2016 to November 2017. Neil'sresponsibilities included quality assurance of the Added-Value Payment (AVP) system, test automation using Selenium, creation and execution of validation test plans, and support during production releases.

Neil also has experience as an R&D Software Engineer at Gemalto Pte Ltd from July 2007 to January 2016, where they worked on web development projects using various technologies such as C#, .NET, WCF, ASP.NET, JSON, MS SQL, and MongoDB. Neil was also involved in production release deployment, training, and onboarding.

Earlier in their career, Neil worked as an Applications Engineer at Giesecke & Devrient for a brief period in 2007, where their responsibilities included GUI module development and conversion from UI objects to XML. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Design Engineer at NEC Telecom Software Philippines Inc from April 2003 to December 2006, where they developed user interface applications for monitoring network elements and adhered to Telcordia TL1 specifications.

Overall, Neil Matillano has extensive experience in quality assurance, software engineering, test automation, and web development, with a strong focus on ensuring product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Neil Matillano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Test Automation in DevOps from TestAutomationU in January 2020, ISTQB - Foundation Level Certified from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in April 2017, and Google Analytics - Beginners from Google in March 2019.
