Jamie Miller

Jamie Miller has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Most recently, Jamie worked at Hakluyt & Company, starting in 2019 as an Executive and later becoming the Global Head of Financial Sponsors. Prior to that, Jamie served as the Lead of Financial Sponsors Practice in Asia. Jamie also played a role in the Sydney Grammar School Old Sydneians Union as a Board Member.

In terms of consulting experience, Jamie held a position as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company from 2018 to 2019. Jamie also has political experience as the Chief Of Staff for Representative Chris Hansen.

Jamie's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, where Jamie declined several prestigious fellowships. Jamie also held research and teaching positions at Cornell University, Quinnipiac University, and Yale University.

Furthermore, Jamie has experience as a Rugby Referee with USA Rugby and worked as a Translator for Oxfam earlier in their career.

Jamie Miller has a solid education background. They obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in History from the University of Cambridge from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a BA (Hons) degree in History and Political Science at the University of Sydney from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Jamie earned a Diplome de cours de civilisation; DALF in French Language and Literature from Sorbonne University in 2003. They completed their high school education at Sydney Grammar School, focusing on subjects such as French, History, Maths, English, and Latin from 1997 to 2002.
