Matti Pohjola

Matti Pohjola has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the retail and business sectors. Matti has served as the Group CEO of Hakonen Yhtiöt Oy, providing financing, financial management, and HR services to subsidiaries. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Hakonen Solutions Oy, where they led the company's growth and profitability in last-mile deliveries and maintenance services. Matti has also held positions at Kesko - K-Group, where they served as the Concept Director, eCommerce Director, and Marketing and CRM Director for the building and technical trade division. Additionally, they have held leadership roles at Musta Pörssi Oy, Kesko, Indoor Group Oy, Anttila Oy, IKEA, and Isku Oy. Overall, Matti's experience spans sales, marketing, digital strategy, and brand management, with a focus on driving growth and enhancing customer experience.

Matti Pohjola completed their education at the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration from 1996 to 2003, where they obtained an M.Sc. (Econ.) degree with a major in marketing. Prior to that, they attended the Turku Commercial College from 1993 to 1995, earning a degree as a Graduate of Commercial College with a major in accounting and finance. In 2016, they also obtained the SAFe® 4.0 Agilist (SA) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
