Brian Jacobsen

Brian Jacobsen serves as the VP of Global Talent Acquisition at Halcyon, where a global talent acquisition strategy is being spearheaded for the first dedicated (anti)ransomware company since August 2025. Prior to this role, Brian was the Head of Global Talent Acquisition and Executive Leadership Hiring at Sumo Logic, overseeing recruiting operations across multiple countries and responsible for hiring over 500 employees annually. Experience at Tanium included leading talent acquisition for various technical and customer-facing organizations, and previously, Brian held positions at MapR Technologies and founded the recruiting agency HiringWell, focusing on candidate pipeline development through innovative strategies. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
