Håkan Karlsson

Håkan Karlsson is the Vice Chairman at Haldex AB. Håkan has previously worked as the CEO of Volvo Buses and as an EVP for Volvo Group.

Karlsson began their career with Volvo Group in 2003, where they served as the CEO of Volvo Buses. During their time with the company, they oversaw a period of significant growth and managed the transition to electromobility within the city bus segment. Håkan also led the ASEA Bus Group and UITP Industry Group during this time.

In 2012, Karlsson was promoted to EVP for Volvo Group. In this role, they were responsible for developing and launching the Volvo Group Vision 2030, a project that aimed to deep dive into the disruptive trends in commercial vehicles and formulate an inspiring and challenging vision for the future of the Volvo Group.

During their time with the Volvo Group, Karlsson has been instrumental in shaping the company's future direction and driving its continued success.

Håkan Karlsson has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
