Peer Clausen

Peer Clausen has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer in Hardware Development at Topsoe since February 2005, focusing on developing dynamic ammonia loops for Power-to-X (PTX) and Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOEC) aimed at promoting a greener future. Clausen also holds the position of Chairman of the "Heat Exchanger COI," overseeing internal design manuals and fostering knowledge sharing in the heat exchanger field. Additionally, Clausen has managed the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) department, leading a team in performing FEA using ANSYS and COMSOL for Haldor Topsoe. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Rockwool International A/S, designing and installing production equipment globally, and as a Structural Design Engineer at Terma, conducting FEM calculations for aerospace components. Peer Clausen holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, earned between 1997 and 2001.
