Gail Rothnie

Gail Rothnie MBE serves as a Governor at Halesowen College and a Charity Trustee at Citizens Advice since 2021. Gail's extensive experience in higher education includes a role as Head of Outreach at the University of Birmingham from October 2003 to December 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing outreach activities and evaluation strategies related to access and participation policies. Previously, Gail was the Aimhigher Area Coordinator for Birmingham and Solihull and held positions in marketing and education, including Marketing Coordinator at North Birmingham College and a Teacher of French and Economics at St Peter's Collegiate School. Gail holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and Economics from The University of Sheffield, a PGCE in Modern Languages from the University of Birmingham, and qualifications in coaching and marketing.
