Craig Anderson

VP, Business Systems at Halff

Craig Anderson has a strong background in IT and systems administration. Craig most recently worked as the VP of Business Systems at Halff, starting in February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Genesis for over 24 years, starting as the Assistant Systems Administrator in 1994 and working their way up to the positions of Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer/CIO. Craig was responsible for operations and IT at Genesis, providing business intelligence and analysis to corporate leadership and project managers, as well as working closely with production, accounting, marketing, and technology units. Craig also served as the Information Systems Director, managing technology areas, supervising IT and GIS staff, and providing IT guidance and support to all business units. Before joining Genesis, Craig worked at Coreslab Structures as a Systems Administrator and CADD Systems Coordinator, responsible for LAN, server, network, and PC maintenance and support, as well as performing software customization and programming. Craig began their career at Borrell Electric Co., Inc. as a CADD Draftsman, where they specialized in drafting fire suppression system designs and taught himself AutoLISP programming.

Craig Anderson attended St. Petersburg College from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Technology Development and Management. Prior to that, they attended Hillsborough Community College from 1989 to 1992. Craig also attended Jesuit High School from 1985 to 1989 and St. Joseph Catholic School from 1976 to 1985.

In addition to their formal education, Craig also obtained a certification in PHP: Object-Oriented Programming from Lynda.com in July 2017.
