Johnny Gonzalez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. JOHNNY began their career in 2007 as a Master Stylist at Visible Changes in Austin, Texas, where they completed their cutting education program in record time. In 2010, they became a Co-Owner of Silk Hair Salon, where they managed all aspects of salon ownership and management. From 2013 to 2014, Johnny worked as an Independent Hair Stylist at Salons by JC in Austin, Texas, where they leased a private suite and provided a range of hair services to clients. JOHNNY then transitioned into the role of Senior District Manager at Regis Corporation from 2014 to 2015, overseeing multiple salon locations. Johnny further honed their leadership skills as a Salon Manager at Great Clips from 2015 to 2018. In 2016, while still working in the salon industry, Johnny started their studies at Austin Community College as a Student - Independent Contractor. In 2018, they transitioned into the field of design and began working as a Civil CAD Designer/Technician at MWM DesignGroup until 2021. Following that, Johnny joined Tri-Tech as a Civil CAD Designer from 2021 to 2022 before joining TRC Companies, Inc. in the same role. Most recently, Johnny has taken on a position as a Land Development Senior CAD Designer at Halff Associates starting in 2022.

Johnny Gonzalez obtained their high school diploma from Prairie Lea High School in an undisclosed year prior to 1993, with a focus on general studies. In 1993, they attended Southwest Texas State University, where they pursued a degree in accounting and business management. However, it is unclear whether they completed this degree as the information regarding the degree name is not provided. From 1998 to 1999, Johnny attended Seguin Beauty School in New Braunfels, where they obtained a license in cosmetology/cosmetologist studies. Most recently, from 2016 to 2019, they attended Austin Community College, where they attained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in architectural drafting and architectural CAD/CADD.
