Daniella Ivanir is an experienced professional specializing in youth engagement, mental health advocacy, and project management. Currently serving as a Youth Engagement and Advocacy Associate at #HALFTHESTORY, a NextGen Connect Fellow at Fairplay's Screen Time Action Network, and a Youth Advisor for NAMI NYS, Daniella also brings significant prior experience as the Project Manager and Founder/Executive Director of Lean On Me UC Berkeley, a peer-to-peer mental health support service. Daniella's commitment to mental health is further highlighted by roles such as Executive Director of the Internal Department at the Associated Students of the University of California's Mental Health Commission and Co-Chair of the Health Fee Advisory Board. An alumna of the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Rights, Daniella has also gained valuable insights through internships and positions focused on research, writing, and advocacy in the context of health and social issues.

#HalfTheStory is a NGO on a mission to empower the next-gen’s relationship with tech. We have been the leading youth innovators in this space for the last 7 years. We are designed to shift the ecosystem of digital wellbeing by permeating youth advocacy, legislature, and educational systems.. Our hero program, Social Media U, is a 4-week experience designed to support teens emotionally and socially as they transition to high school in the digital age. Our goal at #HalfTheStory is to empower youth with the tools and habits they need to help them take charge of their screens through our 360 immersive approach serving students, parents, and school districts
