Jean-Pierre Claeys

Jean-Pierre Claeys is a highly experienced Senior Unix System Administrator and Engineer, currently part of the Halian sàrl team managing the Solaris/Linux environment for the European Commission in Luxembourg since November 2016. Jean-Pierre also owns and manages JP CLAEYS CC SPRLU. Previous roles include senior positions at ING Belgium focusing on Solaris infrastructure and migration to Linux, as well as Unix System Engineer positions at Trasys and Victor Buck Services. Jean-Pierre has extensive experience in infrastructure management, systems installation, and performance optimization, demonstrated through previous roles at Infrabel and SNCB-NMBS. Jean-Pierre's educational background includes an Industrial Engineering degree in Electronics from Université du Travail Paul Pastur à Charleroi.
