Krys Fluker

Krys Fluker is an experienced journalist with a robust background in editorial roles. Currently serving as the opinion editor at Orlando Sentinel since November 2021, Krys leads the opinion pages for this prominent metro daily. Prior experience includes a long tenure at News-Journal, where Krys held positions as an editorial writer and legislative reporter since September 1994, along with a brief stint covering criminal courts. Krys also worked as the opinion editor for The Daytona Beach News-Journal from October 2018 to November 2021 and as an editorial writer/reporter at Daily Commercial from September 1989 to September 1994. Krys is an alumnus of the University of Central Florida, having earned a degree from 1982 to 1987.
