Eduardo Porter

Eduardo Porter is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in economics and editorial writing. Currently, Eduardo serves as a columnist and editorial writer for The Washington Post since October 2023. Previously, Eduardo was a columnist at Bloomberg News from June 2022 to October 2023 and held multiple roles at The New York Times from January 2004 to June 2022, including economics reporter, columnist, and member of the editorial board. Eduardo's career also includes serving as a senior special writer at The Wall Street Journal from June 2000 to January 2004, and as deputy editor and Brazil editor at AméricaEconomia between October 1998 and June 2000 and February 1996 and October 1998, respectively.
