Susan Sharpe

Susan Sharpe is an experienced educator and violin instructor with a diverse background in both music and science. Currently serving as a Violin Teacher at Long and McQuade in Dartmouth since July 2017 and at the Halifax Regional Centre for Education since February 2024, Susan has a strong focus on teaching music to students of all ages. In addition, Susan held the position of Education Programs Owner at Digital Moment from November 2019 to April 2024, where responsibilities included designing educational programming to enhance coding skills in classrooms across Canada. Previous roles include tutoring in math and science at Tutor.com, serving as a Laboratory Technician at Dalhousie University, and teaching violin at various music institutions. Susan's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education with a focus on Math and Science.
