Renee Towns, CPA, CGA, CTP began their work experience in 2002 at Imperial Oil Canada as an Engineering Technical and Security Services Analyst. In 2006, they moved to Imperial Oil as a Financial Analyst. From 2007 to 2014, Renee worked as a Treasurer at Clarke Inc. Following this, they worked as a Consultant from 2014 to 2016. Renee then joined Halifax Regional Municipality as a Deputy Treasurer from April 2016 to December 2018, and subsequently became the Director of Revenue and Treasurer in December 2018.
Renee Towns, CPA, CGA, CTP, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business from St. Francis Xavier University, completing their education between 1998 and 2002.
