Cybersecurity and Information Technology

The Cybersecurity and Information Technology team at Halifax Regional Municipality is responsible for safeguarding the municipality's digital infrastructure and sensitive information. Led by the Director of Cyber Security and supported by the Chief Information Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, the team implements security protocols, oversees IT strategy, and ensures the municipality’s technology systems are reliable, secure, and efficient, ultimately enhancing the community's quality of life by protecting its digital assets.
