Frank King is an experienced professional in data, analytics, and geographic information systems (GIS), currently serving as the Manager of Data, Analytics & Visualization at Halifax Water since December 2017. In this role, Frank oversees data initiatives and ensures data integrity and security while driving actionable insights through advanced analytics. Previously, Frank worked as a GIS Technical Coordinator, managing GIS staff and systems, and as a GIS Consultant at Kenny & King Consulting Inc., providing technical services in GIS software development and implementation. Frank's extensive experience includes 15 years as a GIS Systems Analyst at Halifax Regional Municipality, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise geodatabase administration, complex spatial analyses, and integration of GIS with other systems. Frank began a career in academia as a Teaching Assistant at Nova Scotia Community College, following an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Saint Mary's University.
