Assistant Controller at Hallam-ICS

Casey Hanlon is currently the assistant controller at Hallam-ICS. Prior to this, they worked at Telequity Group Services, Inc. from May 2013 to May 2014 as the cost accounting staff/intern/bookkeeper. In this role, they completed monthly consolidated financial statements for multiple companies over multiple countries for the CFO, CEO, business owners, sales and marketing department, as well as the service department. This included reconciling monthly payables and receivables, as well as inter-company loans, and sales revenue and cost of goods sold. Casey was solely responsible for finding all discrepancies and proposing adjusting journal entries for the multiple companies, and then presented the consolidated income statement, consolidated balance sheet, and consolidated statement of cash flows to the CFO.

Casey also matched 3 different companies revenue with their cost of goods sold (from a bill of materials, labor hours and overhead) to determine gross margin. Additionally, they built a business model for the companies to use to predict pro forma revenue projections as well as expenses.

On one occasion, they accompanied the CFO on a business trip to Montreal, Canada for business discussions.

In addition to these responsibilities, they also provided bookkeeping services including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, etc.

Casey Hanlon has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Champlain College and is currently working on their Master's in Business Administration with a focus in Business Administration and Management.

Casey Hanlon reports to Jacob Hillegas, CFO. They work with Donna Aiken - Accounting Clerk, Jessica Romano - Staff Accountant, and Katie Lee - Staff Accountant.
