Sharmistha has held various positions at companies such as Hallmark Media, Variety, Experienced Publicity, Digital Marketing and Social Media Executive, Warner Bros. Discovery, Hill & Knowlton, PMK•BNC, and Lowe Worldwide & Partners. Throughout their career, Sharmistha has developed and executed successful marketing and social media campaigns, managed strategic partnerships, and achieved outstanding results for their clients. Sharmistha has also been recognized for their exceptional performance, winning several industry awards.
Sharmistha Chatterjee pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Sciences at the University of Mumbai from 1995 to 1998. Sharmistha then went on to earn a Diploma in Public Relations from the Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) in 1998 and 1999. In 2003, they attended Syracuse University and obtained a Master's Degree in Communications & Public Relations, which they completed in 2005.
Apart from their formal education, Sharmistha Chatterjee has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Speakeasy Inc. | The Power of the Spoken Word and Communication" program offered by Speakeasy. In 2022, they obtained certifications from various organizations, including the "2022 Rising Leaders Program" from The WICT Network, the "National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC)" certification from NAMIC, and the "Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT)" certification, also obtained through The WICT Network.
