David MacConnie has a diverse range of work experience in visual merchandising and retail management. David started their career at Dillards/McAlpins as a Visual Merchandiser, where they focused on designing and executing visual displays to drive sales and profit. David later joined Walt Disney World, taking on roles such as Merchandise Presentation Area Manager and Merchandise Presentation Specialist. In these positions, they managed the design and execution of merchandise presentations for various retail locations, including the company's flagship store in New York. After their time at Disney, David worked at The Coca-Cola Company as the Corporate Visual Manager, where they developed and implemented strategic visual concepts to drive retail sales and deliver brand messages. Currently, they are at Hallmark Cards, where they have held multiple roles such as Visual Merchandising Manager for the Mass Channel and Visual Director for the Mass Channel Visual Merchandising. Recently, they have been serving as Vice President of Creative Visual Merchandising.
From 1986 to 1992, David MacConnie pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design at the University of Kentucky.
