Susan McCoy is an experienced Elder Law and Estate Planning Attorney currently working at Halloran Sage since July 2021, and has been with Cooley Shrair since July 2007. At Cooley Shrair, Susan focuses on addressing the needs of the elder community, particularly regarding elder law planning for nursing home care costs and assisting with Medicaid/MassHealth applications. In addition to elder law, Susan also represents small, closely-held businesses, providing support in formation, financing, succession planning, and general business matters. Prior to their tenure at Cooley Shrair, Susan worked at Arthur W. Price & Associates, P.C. from October 2001 to June 2007, where Susan helped establish the firm to deliver expert legal services in a more personal setting. Susan holds a J.D. from Western New England University School of Law (1996) and a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1993).
