Pushkar Kanhere

Pushkar Kanhere, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with a strong background in materials engineering and cosmetics innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Hallstar since January 2024, Pushkar previously held a similar position at Universal Beauty Products Inc. and played a pivotal role as Chief Scientist (VP, R&D) at Believe Pte Ltd, where Pushkar led the development of unique cosmetic products. As a co-founder and CEO of Salus Nanotechnologies, Pushkar garnered recognition by winning Start-up Season 3 on Channel News Asia while advancing coating technologies. Additionally, Pushkar's experience includes roles at Techbridge Ventures Pte Ltd and the Energy Research Institute at NTU, where significant advancements in technology development were achieved. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from COEP Technological University.
