Gurjinder Singh began their career in 2002 as a PC Support Analyst at Pioneer GB Limited. Gurjinder then worked as an IT Analyst at International Currency Exchange from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, Singh joined ControlCircle as a Network Security Engineer. Gurjinder worked there until 2008. Following this, Singh joined Halma plc in 2008 and held various roles, including Information Security Analyst from 2008 to 2015, and later as Head of Cyber Security Development and VP Halma IT starting in October 2015.

Gurjinder Singh has an extensive education history in the field of information security. Gurjinder began their education journey in 1998 at Queen Mary University of London, where they obtained a BSc degree in Mathematics and Computing in 2001. Following this, they pursued further specialization in information security by enrolling in the MSc program at Royal Holloway, University of London, from 2003 to 2004.

In 2008, Gurjinder obtained a certification in CISSP from (ISC)², further enhancing their knowledge and expertise in the field. Later, in 2016, they attended the CISO Executive Program at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. This program, which they completed in 2017, focused on honing their skills and understanding of information security.

To supplement their educational background, Gurjinder also obtained certifications from ISACA. In August 2017, they earned the CISM certification, demonstrating their proficiency in information security management.
