Anand Nandakumar

Anand Nandakumar is the CEO of Halo. Anand was previously the Perception Engineering Manager II at Uber from August 2017 to March 2019. Anand was responsible for using advanced Deep Learning research to make cars see the world. Prior to that, they were the Architect / Engineering Manager at Sony Media Cloud Services from December 2014 to July 2017. Anand was responsible for migrating the entire system to AWS Cloud, designing a highly available and scalable system, designing the Android app, and monitoring the system to handle high traffic. From January 2011 to December 2012, they were the Sr. Software Architect and Technical Lead at Sony Pictures Entertainment. From July 2009 to December 2010, they were the Sr. Software and Hardware Lead at Medtronic. And from November 2008 to June 2009, they were the Sr. Architect and Software engineer at Fredericks of Hollywood.

Anand Nandakumar has a MSc in Advanced Software Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras.
