Devin Whitten

Devin Whitten is a Senior Software Engineer and Quantitative Software Engineer at Halo Investing, with experience dating back to July 2020. Concurrently, Devin serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame since August 2015, focusing on Galactic Archaeology and near-field cosmology, and developing machine learning and Bayesian modeling algorithms for large-sky surveys. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Devin has contributed to the Summer Science Program by enhancing a statistical analysis curriculum and conducting workshops on Python programming. Devin's earlier experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Supplemental Instructor, with a strong academic foundation that includes a PhD and MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Notre Dame, along with a BS in Computational Physics from Purdue University Northwest.
