Halo Leisure
Karen Harris is a versatile business owner at Miss Daisy, where a range of services including painting, gardening, housekeeping, and upcycling projects are offered since March 2018. In addition to this entrepreneurial role, Karen has been a swimming teacher at Halo Leisure since February 2019. Previously, Karen accumulated substantial experience in the IT sector, holding positions such as Service Delivery/AO Development Manager at Capgemini from March 1990 to 2018, where the focus was on delivering excellent IT services, and as a Project Manager at Schneider Electric from January 1990 to February 2005, leading numerous IT projects and managing the FI/CO function within SAP. Karen's career began in a large IT department, starting in a support role for mainframe systems. Academic qualifications include a degree in Computer Science from Bridgnorth Endowed School.

Halo Leisure is a not-for profit social enterprise and registered charity. We're managed by a Board of Trustees who are drawn from across the County representing a broad balance of community focus and commercial and business enterprise. Halo are proud to provide leisure centres in Herefordshire, in the market towns of Hereford, Leominster, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Bromyard on behalf of our major partners, Herefordshire Council. We also operate in Bridgend County, Shropshire and Highworth. Every single time you use one of our centres you are personally investing in improving the service and facilities we provide.
