Sarah Vanwinkel

Sarah Vanwinkel has a diverse background in social work and education, currently serving as a lifeguard and swimming teacher at Sportoase since October 2022. Previously, Sarah worked as a social worker at Cherut Belgium from February to June 2024. Sarah played an active role as a board member for the Antwerp Model United Nations between April 2021 and May 2022, organizing events that promoted diplomacy and international relations while enhancing debating and organizational skills. An internship with GAMS Belgium focused on addressing female genital mutilation and supporting affected individuals. Sarah also gained experience as a production clerk at Wonderweekend in the summer of 2020. Educationally, Sarah is pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Antwerp, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen, which included study at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The academic journey began with a High School Diploma in Economics and Languages from Sint-Jozefsinstituut Betekom.
