Sean Mullins

Sean Mullins has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sean started their career in the US Army, serving in various roles such as Communications Technician and Green Beret in Training. Sean then transitioned to become a Combat Advisor and Foreign Military Trainer in the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and later joined the 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) as a Course Director and Senior Instructor.

In 2010, Sean continued their service in the US Army, holding positions such as Team Sergeant, Troop Operations Sergeant, and Support Team Leader. Sean also served in the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) as a Company Sergeant Major and subsequently as a Battalion Command Sergeant Major.

Sean's leadership capabilities expanded further when they assumed the role of Group Command Sergeant Major at the 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne). In this position, they managed a large organization of nearly 3,000 personnel, with a diverse range of roles and an operations budget of $42 million. Sean provided technical supervision to five directors and oversaw multiple educational and training programs.

Prior to their current position, Sean worked as a Senior Instructional Design Specialist at DOWNRANGE OPERATIONS & TRAINING, LLC, contributing their expertise in instructional design.

Currently, Sean is the Director of Business Development at Halo Privacy, leveraging their vast experience and skills to drive business growth and development.

Sean Mullins has a strong educational background, with a focus on sports and health sciences. Sean obtained a Master of Science degree in Sports & Health Sciences from American Military University, graduating in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Medical Care at Western Carolina University, graduating in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Sean has pursued further professional development opportunities. Sean participated in the MIT Sloan Executive Education program, focusing on leadership in an exponentially changing world. Sean also completed the Program on Negotiation, Secrets of Successful Dealmaking at Harvard Law School Executive Education, and the ManageMentor program at Harvard Business School Online.

Currently, Sean is in the process of completing the Credential of Readiness program at Harvard Business School Online, which they started in 2022 and is expected to finish in 2023.

Apart from their academic achievements, Sean has obtained several certifications. Sean completed the Transition Fellowship at the Special Operators Transition Foundation, a 6-month career transition program for elite special operators, in January 2023. In August 2022, they became a Certified Project Director (CPD) through the Institute of Project Management. Sean also completed a 13-week executive leadership seminar for elite special operations veterans at The Honor Foundation in July 2021. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and is a certified SCUBA Instructor through NAUI SERVICES GROUP, INC.
